National Contract Management Association

NCMA Certification Study Group

Mission:  NCMA San Diego Chapter seeks to enhance the stature of the Contract Management profession by assisting its members prepare for and successfully complete the professional certification exam and receive an NCMA professional designation. The Chapter aims to help its members further their individual career goals and objectives by providing a place where candidates can review relevant study materials, discuss homework assignments and ask questions in preparation for this important step in career development. The program is 8 weeks long with weekly reading assignments and a final practice exam.

The CPCM, CFCM, and CCCM are certifications awarded to candidates who meet rigorous standards, including experience, education, training, and knowledge. They are professional designations of distinction, and carry the respect of their peers in the profession. NCMA certifications are competency-based, legally defensible, and are based on psychometrically sound objective examination of knowledge.

The NCMA professional certification program is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and distinguish those who demonstrate knowledge essential to the practice of contract management.
